The first amendment guarentees 5 basic freedoms. Those freedoms are religion, assemble, press, pretition and speech. This was the first amendment of the Bill of Rights.

Second amendment is about firepower so to say. It guarantees the right to bear arms to protect yourself.

Amendment 3 was big in the revolutionary war. It states now quartering of soldiers unless of course you want to.
Amendment 4

Amendment 4 protects people from unreasonable searches or seizures. You can not out of the blue take something or search somebody just because they seem suspicious. They will need to have a warrant.

Amendment 5 is about no self incrimination. Even if you know you are guilty you do not have to admit it. You can just plead the fifth!

Amendment 6 is about rights in criminal trials. A main right is right to a speedy trial, this insures that you dont end up serving twice the amount of jail time before you even get to tell your part.

Amendment 7 is about right of trial by jury in cival courses. This means that you can be called guilty or innocent by a group and not a single bias person.

Amendment 8 is freedom from excessive bail, cruel and unusual punishments. This way there is a chance not to go to prison and it is now a loose loose situation

In amendment 9 it is stated that people have all other rights even if not stated in the constitution. Even if it dosnt say it there, its there.

Amendment 10 is about how the powers are reserved to the states. Providing that powers not granted to the federal goverment by the constitution are reserved to the states.
